Mission
Christie Chung, PhD, is a sought-after cognitive psychological speaker and author on the positivity effect in emotional memory. She centers her research expertise, leadership experience, and diverse career/personal background in her coaching practice, with the goal of empowering academic leaders to turn challenges at work into opportunities for growth and advancement. Christie inspires academics to impact the world through their leadership while championing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion/Antiracism/Belonging (DEIAB) principles. Christie has experience in designing student-centered policies, mediating conflicts, supervising programs and non-profit units, and has been a key leader in supporting the campus community during an institutional merger as Associate Provost.
Christie is passionate about supporting all academic leaders and is skilled in encouraging women, BIPOC, and international higher education scholars to leverage their unique cultural diversity in achieving success at work.
